Amul AMCS started as an
initiative by GCMMF (Gujarat Cooperative Milk Marketing Federation)
in association with Prompt Equipments Pvt Ltd, a few years ago in
2015. The project was going to be vast and equally challenging as we
needed to connect 3.6 million farmers, 18000+ VDCS, and 18 Milk
Federations of Gujarat on a single digital platform. But we knew we
could achieve our goal because we’re going to make an immense
change in people’s lives for the better that coincides with our
company’s aim as well. We took up the task, included prolific minds
who put in everything enormous efforts and time to make it functional
and reach where it is today. We began with first Amul AMCS
installation at Vahera Dudh Utpadak Mandali under "Kaira Union"
in Feb 2016, and today after one year, we have surpassed over 5000
installations at hundreds of locations across India. That’s indeed
a big feat and a further encouragement to what we can accomplish
more.
